The simple sam bikes are awesome. They too have standard steel plates on the dropouts so the frame doesn’t get damaged when tightening / loosening the rear wheel. I’ve used mine as a fixie and single-speed and although I prefer riding single speed, it’s great as a fixie. Performs really well. They quality of the bike is really good and I think they are very well priced. And yes they only have online shop but they do have resellers. I’ve seen some at Woodstock CycleWorks in Cape Town. Sure if you get in touch with them they can tell you where you can see the bikes or even do a demo.
