Dude post a pic with the new R1 brakes fitted
Yeah iv seen wallees bike... pretty gangster hey. Mine is blinged up in blue so doesnt count here
Token+Ceramic= Teramic
Kcnc are almost as light as those for like a third of the price
Would hate to know the price of that under 19pound bike... But Sram red?? Why?
I would bling that baby up!! Send it to cycle art and chrome the wheels and bars, recover the seat etc... thats an awesum lil thing
Seen this bike, very hot and trust me in this kids hands, its super fast as well
eggbeaters or the quartz.. i ride eggbeaters so will recommend them because i think they are awesome but have heard good things about the LOOK awsell
Brendawg you have to win crater cruise if you want that bike though
That cube bike is utter porn!! its so good looking.
The parts on the cube also seem to be better then that on the merida. Cube is my choice.
I dont have a digital photo like these of my kit.... But i do have the original draft of it, looks very similar though, just changed the logos down the sides and the pants are a bit different as well.

Very different but i like them, will definatly stand out
LOL
rather get ceramic bearings... makes them roll faster.
CR420s are aero wheels but with a shallow depth. So you not at a disadvantage.
Ceramic bearings are the way to go
depends what you can spend on them...
2nd hand zipps - R8000
lightweights - R45000
I really dont know what difference they make in reality but hey...
How did the tyre stay on the rim?
Ok this is what iv heard from a dude who works at cycle lab.
An Xt cassete and a sram chain work best together.
whats this for
RavX foam grips and cut them to size
LIGHT AND CHEAP
bump
cannot say the same...
A friend of mine had a cracked eggbeater pedal and his got replaced, i had the same problem, sent mine in and i had to pay for it to be fixed and serviced.
Was not impressed at all.
Im keen to get a monthly group ride going at giba gorge in Durban. Us Durbanites dont have enough hub rides, we need more of them. I often see hubbers at giba so im sure this will work.
Is anybody else keen for this? Can sit down and have drinks afterwards and its fun for the whole family to get in on. I know a few nice long rides out from giba (25-40kms) so we dont just have to stay inside giba.
Let me know if you are keen and what days and times are good for you
Im with pantani
Its all about practice makes perfect in this case. Myself and my training partner always race each other, it keeps you both motivated to do better and it always helps training the mind and the legs. Just let them catch you ad then break them all apart again and ride away with a smile on your face. The best thing to take with you to a race is confidence.
pimp that bike up with gold kcnc, looks awesome, thats how i had mine
The parts that come on this bike fully build are amazing. I took mine off and built up my rocky mountain frame then sold the commencal frame.
Very awesome bike!! many happy miles
How are you getting around only having 1 bottle cage though?
Merida's 930g MTB frame...
