  1. Yes - its all about the money. That's why the big bad boys are hijacking club races and ripping off cyclists with exorbitant entry fees. There was a protest at the start of the JSC race today against these extortionists - hopefully it will open up everyones eyes to what is happening to our sport. I will never support an ASG managed event again.
  2. Registrations will be available at the Zambesi Mall on Friday and Saturday, as well as Sunday morning before the event.
  3. S U N D A Y . . . . usually the the day after Saturday - no need to be sorry.
  4. The cut-off is at the 70km mark - on the 105km route, therefore any rider who sees fit to attempt 105km should easily make the cut. Yes, we will make the race as safe as can possibly be. Metro Police have been arranged and will be on duty. Road Ranger motorcycles and Lead vehicles for start groups. No intersections will be crossed by cyclists - only Left turns on the route. Dedicated Marshals posted at every intersection. Bear in mind the race is on Sunday morning - so traffic will be minimal.

  7. The start / end road surface was really crappy. LBS has many bikes checked in with broken spokes, rims and even a cracked frame - just laughed when i walked in with mine. And those rumble strips are hectic - just too many to hop over if you're boxed in and can't get around them. And my butt hurts!
