  1. If you want to spend a bit more, but use it for 10 years +, try Exposure Lights. Amazing amazing lights!
  2. A bit far away, but Franschhoek pass is long enough and has a steady incline.
  3. People travel to Europe to ride on rough roads and cobbles. Now we'll have it here in CT! Embrace it and rough it out a little. It will now be even more spectacular.
  4. I do Body Geometry Fits at a concept store in Cape Town. The Power is the only saddle that I recommend to men, women, MTB, road, Triathlon's...all of them. It is designed to be a racing saddle but I find it works for everyone. The nose of the saddle is about 3cm shorter than the normal saddle, this allows free movement for the thighs and takes pressure off the soft tissue area when you rotate your pelvis forward (aero position or leaning forward to go up a steep climb on the mtb etc). I know of a few brands that, in my opinion, have better shapes than some Specialized saddles, but they're simply too narrow. The different width options are great, especially from a bike fit point of view.
  5. Can you remember what bike it was? Because I got frauded yesterday...bike was for sale on Gumtree...
