  1. The reason for the pic is that its an awesome bike so not worth selling but was looking into the upgrade.
  2. Ok so from what i gather you recon its best to just have a set of wheels fitted and see if it works? Is it worth the expense to convert though. Rather just stick to the 26in wheels.
  3. I know its probably been asked before, but can 650b wheels be fitted to a 26inch bike and is it worth the effort to convert. Constructive thoughts and comments invited.
  4. Does anyone know where to get hold of the 3m rubber mastic 2228 for down tune protection. Thanks
  5. Thanks bud. Not much help from the rest of the infantile bunch
  6. .... If 29 inch wheels are the ultimate wheel size why do downhill riders use 26 and roadies 27.5???? Nino smokes opposition riders and he has a smaller wheel size. Downhillers choose smaller wheels as they obviously do a better job???? Not convinced
  7. Where can you view Multi stage race ratings. Not sure which one to do??
  8. Yes i was thinking either a hard foil, hard plastic or coke tin. Thanks for advice
  9. Hi hubbers i recently purchased a Cobalt 2 seatpost. My problem is that there is too much play between the seatpost clamps and the seat rails. I have tried tape but that works lose. My next train of thought is to try and make up a shim to fit around seat rails. Any ideas that might help as i know this is a problem with these seatpost (found out post purchase). Thanks
  10. sold send me banking details, but only if they are in the original packets.
  11. I have to get this off my chest and look forward to the response. I shop for bike parts on the hub for the express purpose of saving ash. If i can purchase parts and save money well that's the point is it not? Some people seem to think that because they are selling new parts that they should be able to sell for the original LBS prices. If i wanted to pay original prices i would buy from the LBS. I get the backup if an item breaks and there is some sort of warranty on the part. Not so if i buy on the hub as i cant expect you to replace the damaged part new or not. So my gripe is this. If you price it right, it will sell. Please don't expect to get original prices even if its new. Please don't get shirty with me if i put in a low offer. Ciao
  12. Thanks i dont want to be running at the back of the pack and use my tyres as an excuse
