  1. Like everything in this pitiful place: if you want it done, do it yourself. Know of a accident in Durban, same story... You driver, speeding early in the morning. Took two cyclist out - one in ICU, the other hurt - and both bikes trashed. His number plate fell off at the scene. Police traced him - he got off too
  2. you have to go after the team management and the UCI too. Kill the incentive otherwise you never stop the problem.
  3. It's not about the Bike... etc Anyway, 650cc wheels on road bikes are still commonly used - TdF 2008 and 2009 had two small-ish spanish riders on this. Both where pure climbers. European LBS will always have some 650cc bikes in.
  4. I've had one decent "wrencher" in all my many years of cycling. He was more than decent, he was brilliant, meticulous and about details - to the last smear of bearing grease. He's now skiing for the Polish National Cross Country team - I miss him. Good luck in Hout Bay. I'll continue to build and service my own bikes. Part of the fun
