lol @ Capricorn - he works a lot and we live in Randburg so he doesnt get a lot of time for outdoors stuff. gym is easier at present. thanks for the advice. gonna look at the finances and its either a valentines present or an aniversary in a couple months. !!!

Thanks... given me something to think about. heres a final twist though - he is more a gym guy ie not cycling or training outdoors - you think that the GPS is worth it in that sense? And if i were to get 1 of the other model, can the accessories upgrade the unit to a GPS model or not?

Ok, i need more advice PLEASE!!!! There is a Rcx 5 , RCX 5 Run, RCX 5 Bike , RCX 5 GPS. This is for a present for someone that is into fitness ie cycling, swimming, not so much running, weight lifting etc. which 1 do you guys suggest? Advice needed pwease??????
