  1. I havent been in the area for a while and was wondering if the road between Hermanus and Stanford is now suiotable for road riding now that the roadworks are done?
  2. Any opnions on the Ryder KMAG road pedals? Struggling to find any reviews online.
  3. Looking to buy pedal washers, need 16. Can't seem to find them online in SA. Any pointers for sourcing the online or a bike shop in Cape Town that may stock them? Thanks
  4. And the winner is Jewbacca. Dodgy left Speedplay pedal. Swopped it out for another one and quiet bliss on this morning's ride. At least every component on the bike is also now correctly tightened and greased. Thanks for all the input.
  5. Have eliminated that, new wheels and skewers fitted
  6. That was the initial diagnosis, the cups have been removed, checked, refitted according to Colnago specs. New BB bearings also fitted. I have been assured that everything is in spec in relation to the BB and cups.
  7. I have changed wheels, that wasnt the issue.
  8. mostly pedalling, occasionally while coating. Havent noticed if it is still there standing, I guess that would eliminate the saddle and seat post. will check it out. Thanks
  9. The strange thing is that you can definitely hear it when you pedal, and occasionally while I am coasting, so it seems to rule out the BB area. Not the cable ends but could be a pedal issue, will ty swap them out and see if that helps. Neville was the last guy to work on the bike and it was silent when it came back, took about 3 weeks before the noise reappeared. I will probably take it back to him. Thanks for the input.
  10. I have a Colnago V2-R which is a stunning machine. However it has developed a very annoying ticking sound. the bike has been checked over extensively by 2 reputable bike shops. Both times the bike came back silent, but the noise appeared again after a few rides. No one has been able to say definitively what the source of the noise is. All bearings, headset, BB, cranks bolts, etc. have been checked. I am looking for a recommendation for a mechanic that can get to the bottom of the issue once and for all. I am based in the southern suburbs, Cape Town. Thanks Evan
  11. Looks like it just might do the job, thanks
  12. Anyone know of someone who can patch a cycling jersey, got some small holes from a crash
  13. Through the Colnago distributor
