I also think the Epic is to easy. I've only been cycling since 2010 and did my first Epic this year. We thought it would be very hard to get a Top 100 finish. We came 5th in the masters and 54 overall. Everybody said that the emotions you experience the last day on the finishline are overwelming, I am still waiting for that. It should be a lot more technical in my opinion. Anybody can finish it. They should make it a lot harder, it is afterall the benchmark off mtb stage racing. Don't get me wrong, I will do it again, it was still a nice experience but nothing to be scared off.
