I know this i s a late entry to this but I have had about 6 months experience on this: Running X King Protection 2.2 front and rear on Mavic SLR 26". No problems, they are very fast and I have had no flats. Have had to run them on higher air (45Psi) as they do crease doing tight high speed cornering (a little scary), also I am not a super-light oakie. Wet - Not so great, and they collect mud, so you will have to flip the coin btwn Fast when dry vs easy ride when wet. Enjoying them, and will refit when done! Again, they work for me doing XC and technical.

What would u get if u wated to spend 30 to 35 k?

Thanks guys.... I've been looking and personally, i feel its price steep compared to Sepcialized.. Might as well buy the brand you know (better the devel you know, than the devil you don't.) Also, I am having such a difficult time deciding if I should be riding 29" in any case... i'm 1.69m tall... and I did not feel comfortable on the previous 29er test I did...

Hey guys. I'm looking to buy a new bike and try a new brand. Has anyone got info / opinion about Trigon Carbon bikes... Im still undecided between Duel or HrdTail either in 29". Some feedback would be awesome...

R 10k budget is going to be very very difficult, but W2W is not impossible on a 10k bike.
