  1. All depends on how busy I am slaughtering my competition during rides. Live would be nice, drone takes and multiple angles would guarantee me eating dinner in front of the screen.
  2. Feed them to the crocodiles... It seems thats exactly the intention of the Hub mob, the only disagreement seems to be the timing thereof, during or after the event?
  3. Routing is only required once, the cable housing does not take a beating and friction is not really an issue here. Replacing a cable using the existing housing is straight forward. With a dropper fit and forget is the name of the game. Invest in a quality post from OneUp or Reverb. Preferably an easy serviceable (no propriety tools!) one is the best. The remote droppers are at best ugly and at worst f.. ugly
  4. If you're unable to index the gears yourself then even R1000 plus is cheap. Whatever keeps rubber on the road I say. The bike wash - cost of being lazy
  5. I love driving a Prado to the trail head, at least one thing searching for gears more than me! 🙃
  6. On the money! One Up is probably best value for money for something that will last. All out winner is Bike Yoke Revive. The play getting progressively worse and replacing blown catridges will eventually drive you to a R5k+ upgrade
  7. Brakes - install some larger rotors. Maybe swop front to back and buy larger one for the front
  8. Mix bag of parts. Before buying a proper check-over is called for Frame dates to early 2000's https://www.cyclist.co.uk/in-depth/bike-history-giant-tcr Check advertisements for TCR bikes on the hub. Some great specials that rivals the above.
  9. Glad you're ok Phone - maybe a blessing since they had what they wanted
  10. The day will come when the male variety will also be included in this line-up. Similar to the TdF podium Monster = marketing spend. On ode to consumerism I guess
  11. Correction, his surname starts with a "D" ; )
  12. At least your kid have an excellent role model in Greg Minnaar. I watched him cleaning a podium Norco bike himself. He truely understands what it takes to become successful in a sport which is by no means a money spinner.
  13. From a car review (latest Volvo) in Sunday Times, the reviewer applauded the self driving functionalities of the car since most South Africans "multi-task" behind the steering wheel these days. Multi-task se gat man
  14. https://www.bikemag.com/news/aaron-gwin-wins-chainless Who needs a chain?
  15. From the bikehub market.Cut the stem, replaced the seat post, fitted old seat and here it is!
