Im thinking of getting a CR1 road frame, probably a 2006 CR1 SL... Are they worth it? Or should i be looking at another brand? Carbon will give you more response, i was riding on alu and when i changed to carbon there was a HUGE difference. Suddenly you can hear sounds you didnt before, gear changes sound better! Carbon i would say is better, but perhaps Cannondale make really nice feeling alu bikes? But for weight(as in frame weight) and ride, go for the carbon!
