  1. I've used the white latex sealant for some time now with no issues at all but the gooey mess when you remove the tyre has left me frustrated. I'm going to give the Ryder Green Tyre Sealant a try, hopefully it won't disappoint.
  2. I saw your posting and think you need to punish that clown who serviced your hubs before. My cassette came off easy as pie but I am a bit worried putting force onto the freehub by pulling it off. I suppose its piss easy once you've seen how its done but all the shops tell you to leave it there and come back later. Thats pointless.
  3. Thanks for that bit of advice! I pulled out of the hill2hill after all that rain we had. All our normal routes and river crossings have been washed away. I believe out of 400 odd - 60% pulled out (me) - then 40% after that failed to finish - the rest have their bikes in for repairs.
  4. Hi SwissVan! The hubs are DT Swiss but which ones? This is a good question There are no other markings except XR29. I'll check out the website thanks.
  5. I am a bit concerned that the freehub ratchet is getting louder and does not seem to turn as smoothly as before. When you hand-turn the freehub it feels like there is a lot of grittiness inside. I have taken off the cassette with no problems at all. How do I remove the freehub for servicing?
