Event Name: UCT Mountain Bike Eliminator (& Cyclocross) When: 24 September 2016 Where: UCT Track, Upper Campus., Western Cape Category: MTB This Heritage Day, UCT Cycling Club will be hosting an eliminator style race at its new mountain bike track to celebrate our sport and bring our cycling community together in support of Velokhaya. All proceeds from the event will go towards this very worthy cause by helping maintain equipment and create more opportunities for these riders. So how does it all work? Format: Eliminator of 4-6 riders per heat. Cost: R120 for non-permit holding riders R100 for permit holders R100 for University Students (This is not limited to UCT riders! Any University representation is encouraged so come in your university colours and take on the UCT Men and Ladies! Ensure your presentation of a valid University Student card at registration) Time: Registration and practice from 8:00am First heat starts at 9:00am. Categories: Open Men and Women Veteran Men and Women (40+) Young Guns (boys and girls u13 - u15) Racing Snakes (boys and girls u16 - u18) Registration: Enter by filling in the online form before the race. A cash payment of the entry fee at registration will be required. Alternatively enter, register and pay on the day. In both cases cash is payable on the day.
