  1. Thats a nice bike tedibear. I dont know if the traditional old school frame is what i want. I had something more modern in mind. like this... http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b267/speedophile/263466277_bc203a5a1b.jpg Maybe a used bike that needs some TLC. Ill smooth it out and paint it in the color I want. The simplicity of a fixie is what appeals to me. I couldn't be bothered with the whole hipster scene. here are is some more motivation http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b267/speedophile/WFIXY2.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b267/speedophile/2011-mash-cinelli-track-bike-004-570x379-730242.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b267/speedophile/2777842443_870532b261.jpg
  2. If you don't mind me asking, what did this cost you to build? All that Ill do to this bike is fit a bull horn handle bar.
  3. NotSoBigBen, that is almost EXACTLY what I have in mind that's a very nice bike bud.
  4. I ride a 54 (from what i can remember) Its been a long time since I've cycled. I realize track bike would be preferred, but they seem to be quite scarce second hand. I don't mind the handy work converting a bike. It actually sounds like a fun winter project. Also, I have friends that are very handy with a spray gun, and the idea of a custom bike is very attractive at this moment
  5. Hey guy's. Im really keen to get my hands on a cheap-ish fixie, but cannot fiend any available. Would it be more advisable to convert a road bike? There seems to bee a couple of bargains going in classifieds. Spdphl
