  1. W2W is an amazing race and should be on the bucket list of any MTB rider. The organisation is fantastic and the routes are awesome. Make sure you take a camera along when climbing Sir Lowry's Pass. The single track on day two of the race, through places like Oak Valley will put a smile on your face for at least a day. Then, day three is the longest slog into Onrus with the newly added Poffadder section which was cut on the Paul Cluver Estate. The race organisers have an extensive 'check list' on their website of things to bring and pack for the race. Ear plugs are worth it I assure you. The tents are packed close to one another and you don't always want to have to listen to the guy next to you's 35 minute call to hius wife telling you how sore his backside is. The watering holes are like small free supermarkets and have anything you need to fuel yourself for the next 20km's of riding. you won't go hungry on the route I promise you. This year will be my 3rd race and I am looking forward to it already.
  2. Anyone out there bought the new Suunto Ambit and been using it for Mountain biking? The watch looks awesome but I am looking for riders with first hand experience and don't want to rely on the brochures only. I am a trail runner as well so the watch, at face value, looks great for multi-sport use.
