Event Name: Ride2Nowhere When: 11 September 2021 - 12 September 2021 Where: Dutch Reformed Church, McGregor, Western Cape, Western Cape Category: MTB Come experience amazing trails, picturesque views, the tranquillity and hospitality that the small town of McGregor offers as the 2021 Ride2Nowhere promises to deliver an unforgettable mountain biking experience on and off the bike over the weekend of 11-12 September 2021. It’s our 10th year and we have a few surprises in store as we revive, refresh and revamp, creating A RIDE FOR ALL! The core 2-day ride options will still be available with route improvements and changes for 2021 (More to be revealed soon) McClassic – Long (approx. 70km per day) - 2 Day Long Route for those a little bit more serious and fitter McLite – Short (approx. 50km per day) - 2 Day Shorter Route for those that just loves the ride. _______________________________________ NEW FOR 2021! Run2Nowhere - 2 Day Trail Run will be hosted on the same weekend RUN-RIDE entry option available (Run Saturday and Ride Sunday) The Majority of the trails are only accessible to ride once a year and exclusive to the Ride2Nowhere. For the spectators, friends and family there are plenty of things on offer in McGregor, from wine tasting, nature walks, to visiting the Donkey Sanctuary and so much more. Event Type: 3 Day Mountain Bike event Date: 6 – 8 September 2019 (annually 2nd weekend in Sept.) Location: McGregor, Western Cape Route options: 40km per day or 60km per day Entry Type: Solo or Teams Difficulty Level: Moderate - For first time stage racers and experienced athletes Website: www.ride2nowhere.co.za Overview: A bike-it-list mountain bike race in the heart of the Langeberg region. The Ride2Nowhere, 3-day mountain bike race forms part of the R2N Events family, that is based in the town of McGregor in the Western Cape. Known as the race where racing snakes and weekend warriors meet to complete for fun. Here we simply ride for the love of the ride! The event has a relaxed vibe and festive atmosphere, no cut off times, no pressure. Participants have the option to participate in teams of 2 or solo. There is a short route of 40km per day and long route of 60km per day option. The route is only open on event weekend due to the fact that the majority of the trails are on private land and this also ensures the unique and exclusiveness of the event. Due to the moderate distances per day participants have the opportunity to spend the afternoon exploring the town or relaxing with friends and family – making it an ideal weekend away and enjoying the outdoors! The event is capped at 400 riders to ensure the events unique atmosphere and services is maintained. As with all R2N event we strive to support the local community by using them for event services which in return creates a very authentic atmosphere at the event. Go to Event Page

Event Name: Hi-Tec Walkberbay Xtreme MTB - Individual Races When: 27 April 2019 - 27 April 2019 Where: Hermanus, Western Cape Category: MTB THIS YEAR WE HAVE INTRODUCED AN ALL-NEW STAGE RACE MTB EVENT! Enter both Stage 1 and Stage 2 for just R700, or choose to do a single distance on either day. The trails here were originally purpose-built for the Cape Epic & Wines2Whales but have since been expanded for some seriously awesome and memorable riding through beautiful valleys and wine farms. This family-friendly event caters for all levels of skill and fitness with riders being able to choose between 20km, 35km or the 60km routes on offer. Throw together some tough climbing (especially on the 60km route), waterpoints designed to slow you down, exhilarating vineyard trails through some of the most beautiful wine farms in the world, technical terrain to sharpen the mind and some sweet single tracks snaking along the Onrus River, and you are set to enjoy a MTB Challenge of Xtreme proportions while being rewarded with unbeatable views and a finish by the Old Harbour in Hermanus. The trails are diverse and can be enjoyed by all levels of skill and fitness. However, we advise you to only enter the 60km race if you are an experienced and skilled mountain biker and really keen to see where the beautiful Hemel & Aarde wines hail from. Go to Event Page
