I am aware that there is an issue if you have a full racing license. We have however entered and paid prior to this bomb being dropped. The question is still: who will refund us the entry fee, now that we are no longer allowed to race without being penalised?

Not sure if this question has been answered: Will either the CSA or PPA refund us our entry fee due to the fact that we can no longer participate i.r.o. this rule?

Hi All. Firstly I would like to express my gratitude to all those who enquired about creating a presence at the court proceeding of the accused in the accident where Alriza Reid was involved. The accused will appear on Thursday, October 2 at the Wynberg Magistrates Court, in Church Street, Wynberg (opposite Maynardville theatre). Court proceedings will start at 9am - we ask all cyclists to gather outside, dressed in their cycling kit, to show their support for Alriza and to protest against reckless driving by motorists and the rights of cyclists to share our roads safely, from 8.30am-9.30am. For those who owns the 1.5m PPA Cycle Kit, please wear them. Those who wish to go watch court proceedings can also do so although we do not know the exact time he will appear. We have encouraged the media to cover the proceedings as they have expressed an interest to do so. Please try and be there to add to our presence. Hi All. Please ignore the non-accurate reports on the condition of Alriza. I have just spoken to visitors of the hospital. She is currently still under sedation due to the swelling on the brain. She has lots of cuts and bruises. Her leg and face was operated on and whilst she is still in ICU, her condition is stable. She will have more operations on her face when the swelling subsides. We ask that everyone allows the club to communicate only accurate facts on this case, since it is disturbing for her family and friends to be exposed to everyone's own version of her current situation.

A huge thank you to Eugene and his team for all the hard work and long hours committed to the league organising. When you speak to someone at 9pm and 5am the next morning he is still replying to emails, you know they are slaving for this cause. He is creating a blue print that will allow us to easily replicate this across future Winter and Spring Series. It would also be great if everyone with positive critisicm could forward this to the event organiser after the series in order for them to continue improving on delivering to the WC cyclists. Again, we appreciate the efforts!

What will really assist is that if every seeding run is accompanied by some notes explaining why the results appear different to that of the explained seeding rules on their website. When things are transparent, it will make it easier for us all to understand. Now it could be either correct or completely incorrect - we do not know.

Anybody seen the latest PPA Seedings? Can anyone explain how a single non-Argus Race makes up our entire seeding? Has the seeding rules been changed?
