  1. Yeah I haven't tried them but I doubt there will be second hand of that size. I will check though thanks! PM sent, but buying something with those sizes just makes me think I will have to worry about this again sometime so if I were to go that route i would go with more conventional sizes i think. Any suggestions with regards to the repair?
  2. Hi all, I'm new to the forum and I'm really hoping I can get some help here! So about 2 years ago I had an accident where I went straight into an obstacle and damaged my bike. I didn't know what was broken but the front wheel had a slight loosness to it. I figure out that this was because the arms of the (steel?) fork felt like they had some give in them, so i went to various bicycle shops and was told it had cracked inside and I must buy a new one. This was really difficult for me because I can't afford to replace this part. It's from about 2000, is threaded, 215mm, and 1" and I can't find anything close to that in SA. So it has just sat for this long. Now just out of frustration I pulled the arm away from the fork and found that there is no visible crack or anything that looks damaged but it was most likely the arm that had deformed and bent around the fork and the bonding agent used in there failing that was the cause for the loose feeling. Should I now try to repair the bent part of the arm? Is this fork beyond replacement? Or can I get away with trying to repair it? I apologise for not the greatest terminology but I do my best! Any help would be greatly appreciated! really want to get back into cycling after so long. Thanks in advance
