Event Name: The Great Ride Western Cape Cycle Sportive When: 25 October 2012 - 28 October 2012 Where: Oudtshoorn to Stellenbosch, Western Cape Category: Road Whether you are looking for the perfect training to kick-start your cycling season or needing to get some good solid kilometres in the saddle in preparation for the Coronation Double Century or Absa Cape Epic, we have the perfect training opportunity for you and your team mates, taking place from the 25th-28th October along the majestic Route 62 from Oudtshoorn through to Stellenbosch. Riders will average +/-100kms per day and overnight in Ladismith, Montagu, Worcester, finishing up at Joostenberg Bistro just outside Stellenbosch on the Sunday. Each day will have a General Classification Section and Hill Climb Section to blow out the cobwebs and there will be prizes awarded to the winners of these stages. We can accommodate your non-riding partners and have made provision for them should they wish to come along.
