  1. https://just-forfun.myshopify.com Jumping on the bandwagon ....
  2. Simply amazing. They are almost finished. Has there been any real publicity around their efforts? I must have been working to hard or just a sleep..... First time I was even aware of the attempt. seems as if very little marketing was done or very little press coverage. Maybe I am been naive , just wish that this was the stuff focused on in the news instead of all the politics, wars and high jinks of the Kardashians .... Incredible human spirit and achievement so far, well done team carocap
  3. Power Travellor or Power Monkey. The very best. Check out www.wintecsolutions.co.za for suppliers.
  4. Weeride gets my vote. I have both. The seat at the back has two problems. One balance, you have to be careful as your center of gravity changes a lot. You really have to take it easy. Second and even more frustrating - is junior is not involved. They have to stare at your sweaty back the whole time... where is the fun in that? The Wee ride has a great center of gravity. You can stand, and handle a green level mountain back track with ease. You do feel safer with the tucked up close to you. Huge plus and after safety the main selling feature.... junior is involved and having fun. They can see things, feel the wind against their faces and experience the joy of cycling...point things out to you and just have a blast. The downside is some angling of the legs while pedaling... it is however slight and if they are far forward ... not a major issue. Small price to pay for the enjoyment your child will get. In fact World Champion lady triathlete trained with one and found it to be adequate for her to get ready for an event with junior in tow. Weeride was one of my best purchases ever.
  5. The best for me was this: http://www.weeride.com/Kangaroo-Center-Mounted-Child-Bicycle-Carrier Used it for about three years from when my son was 2 until around 5 years old. It was much better than the seat that sits behind you as you have much more contro and balance , your child can see what's going on instead of your sweaty back and you can have great conversations with them. I left it on for about a year even when he started using his own bike... We would go to places like Mtn bike park and when he got tired, I simply lifted him into the seat and hung his bike onto my left handle bar grip. You give your legs a nice work out as you need to keep the bike stable when carrying kid and kiddie bike but at least you can go on fairly decent rides with the little guy and let him/ her carry on when rested. I bought mine via wantitall.co.za came to around R. 1500 three years ago ... Worth every cent, used it all the time. My back mounted seat was used once. Good luck
  6. Does anyone know where the results will be posted?
