Thats the point of this thread is it not ? My point is you can only throw a stone at him if you passed a dope test . . and if you never had a dope test, that because you aint fast enough, and not all fast riders dope.

because i dont dope. its that simple Thats cool if you dont dope, neither do I, but to be subjected to a dope test they dont take your word, they take your result.

I have to admit, theHub forum neve seize to amaze me. I do have sympathy for Pro_funrider aka Eben. Taking the thread into review, he post he was tested positive, sentenced and then he warns the peeps (hmm, is this then a peepshow? just by the way) on this forum. I agree on all counts doping is not good for any sport. Okey so Eben is nt a pro rider, meaning he is not really in it for the money and bla bla bla.... Its easy to throw stones when the rest of you criticsing and slanting him will never do well enough in a race to warrant a dope test...

Agreed...If bikers race on the road they face chargers, reckless driving. So does cars, what makes cyclist different? I maintain, there is no sense of self preservation, same as a failed suicide attempt if they actually make it back home in one piece...

I just laugh at some of the comments, complete with no logic attached to it... First and formost I am a motorcyclist, then cyclist then a motorist... I do not ride my bicycle out on the road and prefer places where I have control over events... I have ridden Kromdraai (by motorcyclist) quite often, and it is here where I can clearly see that cyclist live in each on their own little cacoon where a sense of self preservation is absent. Riding two or three abreast on a public road, yippee, its like a stage of the TourDeFrance, the peleton is chasing, who knows what but they chase, and maybe, just maybe they exceed 25km/h. All the while cars and bike try megotiate the same sceninc road a four times (or more) the speed, dodging cyclist.... Never giving thought to the speed differential compared to other traffic, if a cars travels at 110km/h to get it to go at the cyclist's speed within a short space requires quite an effort. I dont even want to mentioned bikes, coz Kromdraai on a bike can easily be negociated at above 140km/h and its still leisurely. In all these cases who is going to be hurst more? the cyclist! Or maybe not, maybe the new kit is safe for falling in anything but a swimming pool. Now take riding two abreast and the dangers associated with that. You don't afford each other any safe riding space to either side. The rider on the traffic side is riding near to a suicide line as you can get, coz a small swerve and he/she is in front of an approaching vehicle. The otherside is into the bushes. Now that is very comforting to know. You live in a dreamworld if you think the world is stopping to applaud to as you paddle, most likely you are sworn at coz you are not thinking while you are riding, in fact swerving all over the road at snails pace becoming a mobile hazard at best... best you read the news article abt the bloke who in a road rage incident on the highway stepped backwards while attacking another motorist.... as he stepped back a car took him out...
