From Bunkershill, head across to Beacon Bay and then to Gonubie. Once in Gonubie follow the road down and around to the right. It winds it's way back up to the main road. This follows the coastline and is really pretty. Plot a route on google maps. The ride is on tar and pavements . Try and stick to the old coastal road. I lived there briefly, in Bunkershill, and this was the safest option when cycling on my own. There have been a lot of horrible incidents. The roadies meet at Erics corner at 5.00 for a ride (T,W,Th). This is at the top of Beach road in Nahoon. They set quite a good pace and there is safety in numbers! I suppose you are used to the wind! Goodluck........lot's of broken glass so be prepared!
