  1. I really enjoyed the race. A great combination of flowing jeep track, tough climbs and some pretty decent descends. Water points well stocked! The venue and vibe at the end was great as well! Will definitely be back next year!
  2. I've got the same problem. Hopefully it clears up in time and I can still ride tomorrow.
  3. I am in C batch with a 40 seeding. Not sure why everyone are always unhappy about their seeding. Anyway, looking forward to the race. Looks like fun!
  4. Woohoo. Already entered for the 76km. Can't wait!
  5. Will never miss then Van Gaalen race! Entered for the Marathon.
  6. Entered for the Ultra. Going to be tough, but can't wait! Last race before we take on Sani.
  7. Late entries available at registration. Cycle Lab Fourways today and Bruce Reyneke Tomorrow.
  8. Great event! Always look forward to it and have never been disappointed. Great trails, tough climbs and excellent water stations. Wanted to do the 75km and 45km, but after the muddy 75km my bike was sick and now needs some attention before it can go on the trails again. Photos at http://www.jetlineactionphoto.com/ They might as well just drop all the photos in the Unidentified category because I couldn't see any numbers on my board when I finished.
  9. Visiting the parents in Potchefstroom over the weekend. I want to do about 80km or so on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone have any suggestion which routes to take and is there anyone who would like to join me?
  10. C batch. Missing out on the T-shirt. Chose 3 Towers over Hakahana.
  11. Problem last year was that all 3 distances merged before the end causing the major bottlenecks. Tim has assured us that that the merge will be just before the end which will resolve the bottle neck issue. Also the batch intervals will be 10 minutes.
  12. After the 103km on Saturday, I enjoyed the 40km route. Maybe a bit flat, but the route wasn't that bad. If I had only donw the 40km, I would have liked it to be a bit longer (as 56km for previous years). The corrugated district road I didn't miss at all and I am glad they removed it. Not sure they could make the route much longer without going out on corrugated roads though.
  13. Thanks Tim for the update on the changes. Entered for the 70 because of it. Wouldn't have bothered had it been the same.
  14. Keen to enter, but first want to make sure the congestion at the end will be sorted. Had a horrid time last year standing in a queue.
