  1. Thanks for the quick replies. Does the size of the fork matter? Axle to crown can be either 450 mm or 470 mm as as I can tell. I guess it is just the ride height that is reduced with the 450mm or will it also mean I am limited in terms of which tires I can use? Robert
  2. Hi I recently purchased a Silverback Storm 1.0 with the Rock Shox SID RL 29" fork installed. I am very tempted to try out a rigid fork given the bigger wheels and the weight saving. The rides are mainly technical stuff, often with mud, short but steep climbs - I am located in Denmark in Europe. Once a month a local race - typically race time is 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 min. Can anyone recommend a rigid fork, low weight yet durable? I am uncertain to what price range I should be looking in - ideally I'd see if I could match the quality level of the RockShox - if that makes sense? And if you have any pointers to what to look for in a fork that would be much appreciated. Thanks Robert
