Ok I am picking up my new GT Karakoram 3 today. Cant wait ! Thank for those who helped with the decision.

Can anyone share their thoughts on the GT karakoram ? It kind if like this bike

I think the Giant is out of the race because of the 80mm fork GT karakoram 3 and titan 29 sport have the same parts but the GT is R700 more than titan Silverback is R 600 more than the Titan Titan 24 speed Silverback 27 GT karakoram 27 So price wise the GT and silverback is the same

The giant revel 29 has a 80mm fork and the silverback and titan 100mm what is the difference ? I am trying to eliminate bikes so have to start looking at differences. As well as 24 and 27 speed bikes ? Thanks for the replies so far

I wenst to a few shops today and I am more confused than before The different shops suggest the following for basically the same price up to R500 difference bubt that is fine Giant revel 0 . 29er Titan sport disc 29 Silverback vida 5 29 Only obvious difference that I can see is the Giant has a 80mm travle fork and the rest 100mm. Is this a problem or not ? And the silverback is 24 speed , giant 27 speed, titan 24 Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated Thanks

Yes I have been riding on and off for a few years but I have always used a crap bike. So R5000 for n bike to start again is all I can afford and more that I have ever spent on a bike. I am sure that after a year or 2 i will spend more on a bike
