RISE TO THE CHALLENGE Its time to step up and step out. You will get down and dirty in this ultimate racing experience on the 1st Dec at Northern Farms. We have taken the best of races across South Africa and put it all into one well packaged event that everybody can manage. FORMAT Teams- Teams will compete in groups of 2 and are required to complete the entire course together. This will provide significant advantage in the orienteering leg which will require some memory skills on route and in the obstacles where teams may assist each other in getting over, through, under and between. Seriously, what is a little dirt between friends? Individuals- Tough... enough. Well good you will need to be. You wont be receiving help from fellow competitors. If you think you have what it takes and you brave enough to take on the challenge, then this is the category for you. What to expect? Well, apart from the mud pit at the end you can expect to get dirty on route too. The course provides no shortage of obstacles for you to conquer, dark tunnels, trenching, climbing, paintballing and orienteering. The race is made up of 2 legs, 5-8km of running and 15-20km of cycling, you dont need to be an iron man nor do you need to have competed in tour de France, you just need your wits about you and a love for adventure. After the race Kick back, relax, enjoy a brew and watch fellow competitors make their way through the mud pit.
