  1. Its true man... it is just your body speaking to you and telling you that it doesnt like what you are doing to it!! If you can see pain as an argument with your body and not as a physicall thing, you can push yourself easier through it... Just choose to ignore it... know it cant be that good for you but if comes between a win and a loose, you just have to...
  2. Sorry, not going to say... seems like people get quite hostile here, so not going to give to much info about myself here...
  3. Please man, dont just take half what I say... Like i said in the 1st paragraph, I just want to know what the general feel is about them... What the people out there's perception is... I did go and race overseas and i do have my reasons for stopping... cycling is a great sport and i have a deep passion for it so therefore i will not give my reasons for stopping becuase i know that will be asked next...
  4. I am neither jealous nor am i looking for shyt... Most of them are very nice guys! I know allot of them very well!! I just want to know what the general feel is about them... What the people out there's perception is. By the way, doesnt Robert also have a wife and a kid?? I am sure allot of other riders in Europe also have wife and kids... as for the other guy who asked... i did ride pro for a couple of years and i have won my fair share of races, i also do know that when those big teams come over to South Africa, they use this as training... you remember a couple of years ago, Ullrich raced here. So are you telling me that because he didnt win, all the people who won him can go on and do what he did in the Tour??
  5. Think they are taking the easy road... Getting paid enough, easy racing (in comparison to there) but at the end of the day they are taking up positions of alot of development from younger riders that are just leaving school who dont get the teams because they dont have 10 years worth of racing experience. The more riders go over and race there, the more young riders will be motivated to go over and try and make it as well. At the end of the day them staying here they keep SA standards at the low level it is... But that is just my opinion...
  6. What I meant with the Pro's not racing in Europe, is what do you think of the ones that dont go race in europe... That has the talent but just keeps on racing here...
  7. Hey there, <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I would just like to know what you guys think of our South African Pro's not racing in <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Europe?? What do you think of them as athletes and what do you think their standard is like?? What percentage of the pro bunch do you think takes more than just an energy drink while racing locally??
