Hi All I'm off to Rustenburg for the weekend and was hoping to find some trails in the Kgaswane nature reserve. Anyone know of any singletrack in the nature reserve. Routes, starting points etc. Van Gaalens is a little too far but will be keen on anything closer. Thanks Cheers

I think the 2013 Glory was redesigned with slacker head angle and lower BB and got some really good reviews but that's not on your list. Interesting to keep in mind though if one pops up

Yeah, wasn't shy with rims, got the NSBikes fundamental when they were on special at CRC and boetie brought them down from UK. Only prob is when they do get dinged, its left with big gouges and tyre doesn't want to seal anymore, thus bring on the ghetto, works like a charm.

Running it at 2 bar but will try a little lower, say 1.8. I'm just worried about bottoming out on the rim. That's what was happening to my 2.2 MK in front but hopefully with bigger volume shouldn't be prob.

Yup evo pacestar with snakeskin and I've got it up front with MK 2.2 at the back. Just had one ride so far but it's railing nicely

Ghetto conversion FTW. Just got a 2.4 Nobby Nic and man it sealed easily. On a rim that's got dents and gouges too. Haven't ridden anything gnarly yet. Will see how that goes

So went for a ride tonight and ran the front at 1.8 bar and man it gripped so much more. I almost want to drop it lower. I forgot the rear was on 2.5 or maybe even more and the ass was all over the place. So much fun. Am I right in saying you can run the bigger volume tyres (2.5 inch) at lower pressures with lower risk of bottoming out i.e. hitting rims?

So been running 2.2 mountain kings for a couple months and railing corners, epic. Yesterday tore a big gat in my front tyre and popped on a 2.5 nevegal stick-e with tube which I had lying around as you do. Went out for a ride and front end kept washing out. They've still got good tread okay but pumped up to 2.5 whereas I was running mkings at 2. Has anyone else experienced this. 2.5 anything should grip more than 2.2

I've just moved to Parys from Cape Town, well in Sasolburg for now but will be living in Parys. Does anyone know any of any good singletrack / All mountain / downhill routes around the Parys / Potch area or if not does anyone know any landowners/farmers in the area who have decent hills and who are willing to let okes develop them. Following from that, is anyone keen to build trails if we can find a spot.
