Haha I've just been struggling with this. I reckon sticking it on the sole with the abrasive side to the cleat has to be the right answer. I have Look Keo cleats too and I'm going to cut out a bit for the memory plate, because I can't get that to sit still on the slippery carbon of the sole anyway, without some sort of additional help.
