I'm looking for a vertical bicycle carrier to carry up 5 bikes. Cant find anything available in SA. Any suggestions or experience with these types of carriers? There is another problem with the forks on these bikes, not sure if anyone else is experiencing the "squeak" on the front fork. apparently Fox is replacing components to fix a factory fault?

I have the same bike. First click to stiffen both front and rear suspension for better traction when climbing, 2nd click to fully lock front and rear suspension with almost zero give.

Anyone else suffering from PBB as my partner calls it? (Post Baviaans Blues)

This was my first TB, what a flippen awesome experience! Much tougher than I thought it would be. Capable of way more than I thought I was. Only started really riding MTB in Jan this year after chowing burgers and chips and boozing for 12 years after school. Came in at just under 16 hours, 2 hours less than we had hoped for so really chuffed with that. The rain smashing us sideways coming into JBay was fantastic. Wish it had snowed a bit. Awesome vibe. The chow on the route was epic. Met some crazy/great people. Was way too over prepared for this race, ended up carting back tons of PVM bars and Gu. Done with that crap though, made me feel so sick by the time I got to the top of MAC. Switched to proper food and water, and kicked the rest of the race in the nuts! I want my shield.

Bike Basement in Achter Road, Paulshof.

Hi guys Need some advice on gear for the Trans Baviaans please. What type of jacket will be suitable for when it gets dark and cold? Would something like this be suitable? http://shop.craftsports.us/performance-bike-stretch-jacket-mens-43806.html Or this http://www.firstascent.co.za/shop/mens-renegade-cycle-jacket/ I'm sure its important to be warm, but surely don't have to dress as if I'm trying to summit Kilimanjaro!!! Would also be nice to able to use the jacket after Baviaans for normal cold winter morning rides. Would also like to hear any thoughts on balaclava's/face/ear warmers? Is it necessary? Cheers
