  1. I was very close to the crash, one guy went over a bump in the road, bottle came out of cage and under another ones wheel taking him down, guy next to him panicked and slammed on brakes also going down and taking plenty guys with him. Managed to get past somehow but heard plenty other going down behind me.
  2. I will be able to help if you still need a lift for that bag.
  3. Please let me know if you haven't found a team yet, we have 2 spots available.
  4. Scalpel, no one said anything about flipping the stem, its the headset bearing/headshock spacer that can go either ontop or at the bottom.
  5. See attached image. The manual states the bottom bracket will be lower, this is a printing error and the corrected it at some point.
  6. The bottom bracket will also be a bit higher.
  7. I had a S-Works Epic and now have a Scalpel Team. Both are great bikes and the ride is virtually the same if you swap the headset bearing/spacer to the bottom on the Scalpel to make the head angle slacker. (very twitchy with bearing/spacer on top of head tube). Epic Cons - Brain service takes a while and need to be done often for it to work the way it is supposed to all the time. - Rear Brain need to be tuned properly to not have the bike feeling like it squats when climbing. Scalpel cons - Rock Shox Sprintlock (if equipped) is a pain and only works for one ride at a time if you are lucky. - Max stem angle -15, you do get a aftermarket one of -25 with a hefty price tag. (this only applies if you ride with a negative rise stem though.) The way the Lefty does its thing would, by a small margin, make me choose the Scalpel.
  8. The results will be posted on www.roag.co.za. Not sure when.
  9. I have a free entry for anyone that's interested. Came of my bike and fractured my thumb so wont be able to ride anymore.
