  1. I have, unfortunately he left early because of the long-weekend. So I will only be able to view the footage on Monday. I used the library as a "landmark", not the actual place where it was secured. All is well that ends well, bike was insured, so hopefully I get a new one soon
  2. Hi everyone, My Giant Anthem X Advanced 29er 1 2013 was stolen at Varsity College in Rondebosch(near the library) on Thursday at around lunchtime. Bike description: Has Continental tires(Xking and mountainking) a few paint chips; a white bottle cage; has a tube duct-taped to the seats stem; grips are very worn; and some blue duck-tape, near the chain area Other than that it is standard: http://www.tredz.co.uk/prodimg/56236_1_Zoom.jpg http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/bikes/model/anthem.x.advanced.29er.1/11658/56552/ Could you guys keep an eye out in the area for it! I will give a cash reward to anyone able to return this bike!! Any help will be much appreciated!! My contact details: 078 087 5159 (Mobile)
  3. That sucks Sean! Be careful dude! I have a friend that does a lot of work in the township. I will ask him to keep an eye out for people riding "suspicious bikes" in the area.
  4. Have you ever tried those minimalist shoes or even those 5 finger shoes? My dad's had massive problems with calves as well. He switch from your typical running shoe to 5 finger shoes. Basically he had to change his running style because of them (you almost tiptoe) He's done about 3 Comrades in the 5 finger shoes and he swears by them, his calves have never given him a problem since changing to them. Maybe look into them...?
  5. I'd love to do some night rides! Just need to get some lights! unfortunately I live in Newlands though. Are there others coming from my side joining up with you guys?
