Apparently there's a spate of burglaries in the area now. The Detective told me that new thing is to break in at night while you are asleep (like in the old days). Also, if you have aluminum windows, they have a way of taking the whole panel off to get into your house. In my case, they broke my bathroom burglar bar, got into my property via my neighbour's place . I am a part time photographer so all of photographic gear was taken and a laptop and a few other electron stuff as well as jewelry and the bike of cause (probably used as the get away transport). Also check the bergies .... they come knock on your door to ask for stuff but they use that time to check out your place. Dont give them anything and dont give them odd jobs at your house. The first time my house was broken into was the 'perde karentjie'. The knocked on my door, saw no one was home and went around the back neighbours house, broken my door down and raided my place..clean me out ... So please please guys..be vigilant
