  3. hi guys two months ago bought a bike. i'm cycling jst about 15km everyday, the first few days were tough, but its all good now,jst little pain here and there during the ride, but nowadays i feel like its pointless and that i should up the distance to about 25 km everyday and this new route has a 3 km hill climb....so guys should i or should i not?mind aswell that i'm a beginner and that i havent cycled alot during the festive season......one thing,is having a adjustable handle bar or neck a good thing in terms of setup, thats the reason i bought the bike??? 10thpaladin2009-01-19 17:41:02
  4. oh by the way it has a 5 yr warranty on the farme and knowing how i would punish the bike i think it will be fine or am i wrong again???
  5. wow guys your'll really scaring me here actualy ....it means that i really have to break the bank's vault here..my max budget is R4000 thats it. i dont think i'l be looking for upgrades and all that stuff.i'm just buying a bike to see whether i've found the ideal method to keep fit and keep discipline about cycling knowing how i am when it comes to picking up new a things and running with it for a short while...since i've tried running and pounding on that hard ground is not ideal for me. And if i can maintain that discipline then i'll upgrade to the more serious stages of buying bike those at +R10000....so guys please bare in mind about this..oh though i have seen a SCOTT thats 5000 but still to much at cajees at the glen
  6. the specs on the avalanche 2007 model, alloy frame, shimano sora 27 spd, alloy triple cranks, brakes are tektro dual pivot, sora levers, alloy hubs and stainless spokes R3000 on sale from sportsmans warehouse...am i geting for what i am paying for or is it daylight robbery???
  7. howzit...thats my usual time of going to bed,but as soon as i get a bike i think i'l be doing some morning rides lolol....Actual i'm buying it both for commuting and ridin aswell...so i assume i've hit the bulleyes with that entry level bike.the avalanche in mind is last year's model as the dealer told me and its a sale to make ways for new models.
  8. heya people, new to this cycling my question is a avalanche road bike a good bike or bad bike??...there are just to many models out there and this was the bike i've found thats in my beginning phase of cycling
