  1. Anyone buy a from Indonesian online shop.....indoantara.com Crazy prices! Are they for real?
  2. ooh, can anybody report on any faults or manufacturing discrepancies on their Zula's! Just curious.
  3. Rock on jayz, nothing like riding my Zula in kzn...when its not freeking RAINING!
  4. Awesome, nice build. Enjoy every minute!
  5. There goes another Bianchi. Get better soon Ian!
  6. Haven't seen a black Zula yet, but it sounds tight. By the way not cracks or anything out of the ordinary on the frame that would suggest any form of poor manufacturing. There is one thing though. This noise everytime I head downhill - oh wait thats me screaming my head off!
  7. Hey Nobody, RP23 rocks for sure. Rode 50Miler yesterday and after suffering last year in the wet, the heat seemed like a walk in the park. The frame was nice and rigid making the climbs manageable. The flat veld grass wobblies was a breeze. Just gotta learn how to clean the bike! More Wood Morewood!
  8. Thanks, Ja still working on the right set up at the moment. The layback is not working. have since dropped the seat post and changed posts too!
  9. I fell it only fair to share my photos of the new Zula that I took delivery on Saturday. This has been one of the most liberating purchases I have ever made and one I don't regret, despite what my Missus says. The Zula, together with my existing group and fork, new wheels and few extra bits and bobs is better than I can have ever imagined. When you finally see the craftsmanship that the boys at Morewood have put into these frame you realise how significant this purchase is. As for the ride! well I'm struggling to stop grinning. As a previous hardtail rider this is the bike that make me covert, so to say my virgin ride was a watershed moment is an understatement. I'm happy to say cheers to my Euro-trash hardtail now, sorry Paul. Everything you have heard to read bout this bike is true, its light, climbs really well, like REALLY well. The control and response come in bucket loads and has really bought a new element of fun to XC/ marathon riding for me. Well done MOREWOOD on a fantastic product, thanks Conrad/ Mike @ Maverick Cycles for the biuld. Worth every cent. Now I just waiting for my new Crank Bro's Candy's and Skewers to arrive. Yes you guessed it. In red! Enjoy the pics
  10. We spotted thanks guys! Look out for the bike in the back of the Smart. Well done TREAD on the great mag!
  11. TREAD are running the ad online and in the mag, but closing date was in August, with all the picture online and voting and the rest of it! So much of confusion!
  12. Anybody know what happened to the "This is my Volcan" competition? I purposely disassembled my bike and put in the back of my Smart! Would love to see what others did.
  13. Didn't get a chance to ride the Scalpel at the last Ride before Buy, but did take the Merida out for a spin. If you want a racing geometry soft tail that climbs well and is extremely stable on the downhills -them Merida is your your ride. Good XT group all round and Fox shocks makes of a pretty package if you have a spare 29k Can say much about the Scalpel only that I wish i had time to ride it! My suggestion would be to check the prices at Raleigh - Recession Promo.
  14. Great pics, looking forward to joining you guys again in the future!
