Can we still do substitutions at registration?

Half Marathon - Top 3 riders 1. Henry Liebenberg: 1:09:21 (SAS) vs 1:21:42 (Strava) 2. Wessel Botha: 1:09:22 (SAS) vs 1:21:43 (Strava) 3. Marc Pritzen: 1:09:24 (SAS) vs 1:21:40 (Strava) The first rider with a result that seems to compare to their Strava times is Tian Coetzee in 93th position: 1:29:37 (SAS) vs 1:28:31 (Strava).

The Half Marathon timing seems to be a stuff-up as well. Seems that all the A-batch riders got a 10-12 min "discount" on there times, compared to Strava! Route was exactly the same for A-batch compared to the rest of the batches, and no standing time during the race. So why the adjustment? Advendurance hosted a good event, but got it totally wrong on their timing.

I have noticed that SASeeding has upgraded to a new Website (.org) and seems to be in partnership with Advendurance (race entries). All the 2016 upcoming events also seems to be Advendurance events. Been checking their website last few days to look for update of seeding after the Summer Fast One. Looks like their website (seeding) are still stuck on 2015. When entering for this weekends USN race at Modderfontein, I noticed that Cycle Events are now running their own Rider Seeding. It seems to have received data from SASeeding as start-off index, but my personal seeding index is much lower that on SASeeding. Does anyone know what is going on? Are we going to have to cope with different seeding for different events?

Have the route profiles been loaded yet, or am I just missing the obvious? Entered and looking forward to this event. This will be my second Rooiberg race.

Last year there was an repair shop available at the venue that did last minute repairs and sold key items. There was also a stall from Buycycle that sold key stock. Bought full finger gloves due to the cold last year minutes before the start.

Anyone know when route maps & profiles will be available? Only 2 weeks to this event.

The entry fee for the 40km included a free entry for the 23km on the Saturday. We made a weekend of it and rode the 23km on Saturday and 40km on Sunday. We new what was coming (fast & flat), so we enjoyed the trip out. We got what we expected and payed for.

Apparently if you enter for the half marathon on the Sunday, you get a free entry for the 23km Dirt flirt on the Saturday. Does anyone know how to enter for this "free" 23km race?

Not the response I expected from a venue that opens next week and wants my paying business. With this interaction with their future customers, I wil rather pick Van Gaalens in the same region. I know we can't trust the race distance, but this is just silly! The route profile for the half marathon indicated 34km course. At the start they informed us that the distance would in fact be 36km. GPS reading at the finish? 32km! Next point, why bother putting a race route and profile online if you intend to change it on race day? At least my experience of the route markings where excellent.

Ride the Rhino is the name of their multi-day event next weekend in the Cape. I do however share the rest of your comments. Had a nast experience during the "race" with the same big-wheel cyclist.
