Traded the 790. Now to get the first 1000km out of the way, so we can properly give it the beans!

Haha, almost! My 'cousin' is generally only replaced by my brother or a good mate and I don't know how to use Paypal!

I had zero issues in the two years that I owned the 390. Had fun times on it. However, like most smaller displacement bikes, after a while you're longing for something with a little more 'giddy-up-and-go'. The 790, for my use, is the ultimate bike (I don't ride all that often, due to working out of country, so it still puts a massive smile on my face every time I start it!)

Gee, and to think, I sold (traded in for a 790 Duke) mine for R35k and it only had 6000km on it! Didn't realize these 390's are so sought after.

Are you sure yours didn't accidentally get a 690 engine somehow[emoji14]. Mine is on 4000km now and still don't get those speeds, however, it will easily exceed the legal limit, so good enough for me. Had mine down to the coast a couple of weeks ago and it really is built for mountain passes and twisty roads! Had the most fun imaginable on those roads. Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
