do I need the full domestic racing license in order to be seeded at big road races or will the R75 CSA license do?

I didn`t have a 4x4..haha - fun in the mud...rode in the new Cat2 bunch...bunch crashed 5 km from the finish & took me down, bunches just to big for these roads & the amount of traffic? anyone know who won it?

Hi everyone, my first time on the site. Need some advice from all the mtb specialists. I`m doing the 2009 Epic, does anyone have some info on the terrain of the 2009 race? Can it get wet/muddy there? Would have gone with Crossmark if it started from Knysna, but don`t know what to expect now, what tyres should I go for? Continental Mountain King?
