Having everyone riding blind would be very cool but unfortunately we cant build new trails for every event Even on professional racing circuits you will get the guys who just know certain tracks really well. I don't think there is any way around it. There is also an additional element in that guys are able to practice certain lines to get them dialled and I think that this helps the progression of the sport. You can also focus on the tracks in your area and do better in those events where other guys may be at a disadvantage. When a race is part of a series on different tracks, this all evens out anyway. Rode a mate's hardtail trail bike (140mm forks)at Hakahana yesterday and I must say its super hard work but also super fun. I would recommend it highly, just make sure you have a strong bike... or arnt going that fast

Thanks Nige, those are some good guidelines. We will get creative with some tape around the road gap. from what I recall, the current DVD B line is of the order of what you suggest.

A safety bridge sounds like a great idea! Im keen for this sat if anyone else is. Also not keen to hurl myself off stuff with no one else there to pick up the pieces.
