did it rain hard there yesterday?Keen to hear the answer to this. I work and live in Centurion - 5kms apart. It rained so hard near work that cars were pulling over as the visibility was too bad and the roads were flooding. Got home (closer to Groenies than work) and had no rain whatsoever.
I arrived at groenies @4 and it was POURING down, thought of riding but when I got out of the car I realized how hard it actually was raining. Waited to around 16:30 and the rain stopped. So got on and did a few laps, was quite muddy but not to bad, was beautiful and the animals came out to greet me around every corner, on one downhill I actually had to brake very hard to avoid hitting a camelhorse!!!
Was a great ride and on the last lap the mist made it feel as if it was a very earlier morning in the sabie mountains!!! A piece of gem aka groenies!!!!
Cool' date=' Ruan, hope you make it. If you PM me your cell number I'll send you an urgent message to get you out the meeting.
