Thanks Michael. I am not sure I 100% understand. Are you suggesting that I get that kit and then all I need is to get a new chain? I don't want to change anything unnecessarily but I do want to take off my old 1x11 speed as I struggle on uphill's a bit

Hello all, I do not have much experience with this as things have changed so much since I was into bikes many years ago. I have a Sworks bike which I am very happy about but I was gifted a XG-1299 Eagle Cassette 12 Speed 10-50. I now need to find a second hand groupset etc that would work with this. I know that this is a higher end cassette and I dont necessarily want to match the quality/weight so would like to find something perhaps midrange. Any help on this would be amazing as I am not certain exactly what is needed and advise here on things to consider would really benefit this project. Thanks in advance
