  1. Depends on what kind of riding is going to be done, if you are riding an AM bike aggresivly and taking 3 ft drops and bigger, I wouldn't go for a carbon. Also if you crash allot I wouldn't go for a carbon, any damage to a carbon bar can cause a stress riser, carbon fails catosrophically-add 70 grams and have piece of mind.
