  4. So, I'm wondering what is better? And I really need some opinions on this. Saw a 27.5" Fondriest at the Three towers this weekend and its beautiful!!

  7. Hi All, I'm planning on driving through to the three towers from the centurion area on Thursday 3 October at around 15:00. And back late on Sunday. Anyone keen on driving with me?
  8. Don't eat your last big meal on eve of the race too late. (done by 4pm), which gives your digestive system more time to work and often makes for a better swim
  9. For ultra distances: stay out of the direct sun in the days leading up to the race. Start drinking extra water on wednesday (for a sunday race).
  10. Tip from this weekend: warm up before the swim. it really helps
  11. Suddenly feeling super nervous...
  12. Take two towels (one to stand on and one to wipe face and feet - in that order I guess ). Don't like having grass/dust in my shoes
