At 6:20 this morning a Cyclelab member was killed in a hit & run on Simonstown main road. He was cycling alone and found by friends & colleagues minutes after it ocurred. The occupants of a black Golf Polo are being sought in connection with this crime. There are reports that the same golf was "playing chicken" with a group of cyclists minutes earlier. This is obviously not an "accident". If you know of anyone who might have been cycling between Glencairn & Simonstown this morning and who might have been harassed by this vehicle please ask them to contact Insp.
