I had a problem with the starting time. I did the 20 km fun run with my daughter and granddaughter. When we got there 7h40 my daughter asked why are so many people at the starting line? I said I don't know, but they will have to wait as the race only starts at 08h00. At 7h50 I am still pumping tyres and a shot goes off signaling the start of the race. We eventually move towards the start line with our white numbers. Everyone shows us to the starting line. One of the marshalls at the starting line said to me in a very irritated voice that the 20 km race already started a few minutes ago. I told him the race was supposed to start at 0800. So we end up starting the race about 10 minutes after everyone else, because this is the first time I hear we were supposed to start 10 minutes earlier. If they added "20 km race starts at 7h50" on the entry forms, I would not have a problem with it and we would have been in time.
