  1. The last bail is the best "I'm OK..."
  2. If you ever need a reason not to try MTB Downhill, or Slopestyle no need to look further than this video. http://blacknotes.co.za/post/125114386/downhill-mtb-crash-compilation-ouchies-if-you
  3. If I was in CPT I'd be there, sounds like a awesome idea.
  4. I always thought Freeriding was riding around on bridges with no jumps & fun . But OK I stand corrected. wezzo2009-06-11 03:59:20
  5. Yeah, and how are those bridge jumps, frikken nuts! wezzo2009-06-11 03:34:25
  6. Check out this awesome Downhill Track video. http://blacknotes.co.za/post/121673903/first-person-downhill-bike-trail-amazing-have-we Have we got a trail even remotely close to this in SA? Definitely wish I had time and money to create something like it. wezzo2009-06-11 03:16:10
  7. Eish lol, that'll teach me to search the threads before posting...
  8. Too bad Christmas flew passed! BikeRadar Santa Cruz has taken its popular Blur XC in a new direction for 2009 with the introduction of an all-new carbon fibre frame. According to Santa Cruz PR man Mike Ferrentino, the new frame is substantially lighter, dramatically stiffer and yet even more durable than the outgoing aluminum version. Claimed weight for a medium frame is now an impressive 1948g (4.3lb) including a RockShox Monarch 3.3 shock, down from 2359g (5.2lb) for last year?s model, and a complete bike with a not-too-exotic Shimano XTR build is supposedly just 10.15kg (22.38lb). 9. Thanks for the help guys. Slowbee, yeah I'm definitely going to have a look at at it before I buy it - he's up in Joburg this weekend, so we'll see.
  10. Not too sure on the size, the bike's currently in Schweizer-Reineke will be a testing ride to get it back. http://i42.tinypic.com/30bkcb9.jpg
  11. Thanks for the info Slowbee. I haven't seen the bike in person but he says it's dirt. He has also offered to throw in the spd pedals as well although does say one of them is bent - so I might have to buy a new set there. Intend to use it for trail riding. http://i43.tinypic.com/69gmrd.jpg
  12. Hi Guys I've got a mate who's had his Schwinn Moab 2007 lying in the garage for over 18 months (having a baby might have had something to do with it). I've offered to buy it off him, although we both not too sure what I should give him for it. What do you guys reckon, 5/5.5k? http://i44.tinypic.com/2ahbjv5.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/eiujom.jpg http://i43.tinypic.com/11kcwmh.jpg ...looks like it needs a good service as well.
