Hi there, I am interested in getting a MTB (I am a beginner). I was looking at the Scott Aspect 940 & was quoted R6500. Also I happened to find a Scott Scale 70 (2011) in a pawn shop selling for R7000. It seems in an ok condition - a couple of scratches & the tyres will probably need to be changed in a few months - the previous owner definitely used it & it was not just sitting around in his garage. What would be a better deal? What should I be looking out for on a second hand bike? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks G
