  1. had the same.. ended up being my rear wheel not tightened enough.
  2. I've got 2x sets .. Shimano XTR and a Magura Marta SL .... to be or not to be??? Wich one is best??? By just using i'm quite happy with both however the XTR's have come a long way and I do kinda like them? So what's your opinion?
  3. The bike is resting on a VW Polo roof rack... very nice secure bike rack. The rack slides in on any standard roof rack rail, so al i did was used roof rack bars on the cross bars. The rest is easy... flat bar folded under the cover frame tightened to the inner factory fitter bolts.
  4. jIP I'm at the office, will be here till 3h30.
  5. Hi, I mounted it on top to still be able to utilis the tailgate. My cover's got a frame so I can pack all my luggage under the cover and 4x bikes on top without taking anything off. I used to travel with the bikes on my Polo's roof so now they're much lower and easier to load.
  6. Hehe .. won't forget .. I'm used to having my bike on my car's roof so no getting used to required.
  7. Ok so I've seen a lot of questions around this topic on quite a few forums ... have a look at what I've done.
  8. Hi All, just want to add to the great service received from CWC!!! Will surely do business with you guys again! Thanks!!!!
  9. ouch! but why? you planning to overnight? I include myself here... all we need to do is train harder to spend less time out there and we'll need less water/hydration. I've got all my spares under my seat in a neat strong pack .... 2x water bottles .... and some food on my back... no need for anything more The additional cooling of not having the 20kg disadvantged child I would say is a lot more advantagious than the few litre's of unnessasary water. Have a look at the latest core temp experiments lance was doing ... remember you can chill your camelback but 60min into the ride it's coffee anyways and it will heat you up.
  10. bla bla bla... you still need to carry the not needed small disadvantaged child on your back... Hehe .. I'm a bottle man!!!!
  11. thanks... going to go for the 19"
  12. it's not about knowing when it's finished ... it's more about measuring your intake to ensure you take in enough water.... overhydration is also a probem if you don't know how much you've been drinking. But I guess in the end it's personal preference
  13. Please help... I've been visiting bike shops this morning without any success. My inseam measurement is: 84.5cm and my length is: 178.5cm I would like to buy a new MTB frame but I can't seem to find any concistancy in the bike shops advice. Please help me with these calculations. Oh yes maybe this will make a difference but I'm looking at the Specialized Stump HT frame.
  14. Just something else to think about... I own 2x camelback's and oly ride with water bottles now. The big prob with a camelback is you've got no idea how much water you've got left. I've done hundred's of races and never ran out of water using bottle's .. exactly why there's water points. Oh not to add to the fact that you'll be carrying a little disadvantaged child on your back.... So my advice would be .. stick with bottles .. just buy yourself proper bottle cages.... nothing holds on to your bottles like the specialized cages ..
  15. We'll be there as well .. just look out for the two ugly fat guys.... shout hey you and we'll know you saw my post ... Drive safe everyone!!!!
