  1. Mmm didn't see that post. Tnx Smartie :-)
  2. I received a mail from one of my friends in Stellenbosch. Their company just launched a product called Backtracker. I think it is a very innovative idea and could make cycling a lot safer. This device monitors traffic approaching from behind, and the computer on your handle bars show you the distance as well as the speed of the approaching car behind you. There is even a light that pulses faster as the car approaches to warn the driver. Their website is http://www.backtracker.io/

  4. Why not get in bed with a potato? You've got nothing to lose.... Low cost, natural, no side effects....
  5. Seriaazzz! If you can read afrikaans go here http://www.rsg.co.za/mailer/newsletter.asp?id=50 and scroll down to WAT DOEN JY MET JOU AARTAPPEL? Might be a way to spice things up
  6. So I've heard some advice while listening to RSG (Radio Sonder Grense). It seems that a lot of older people suffer from restless legs. So someone on the show suggested that you should sleep with a potato in the bed when suffering from restless legs. Week after week people phoned to thank them for this tip and said it works wonders. It is probably worth a try. I would keep it on the down-low as it would probably get some weird looks from most people though.
  7. Hi, Was just wondering who is doing the Pretoria Military Cycling Club CANSA mountain bike race on Saturday (22 Sept 2012)? Cheers G3CK
  8. I've ridden it on Wednesday after work. Seems save. A lot other cyclists and runners on the road while I went through there. Even a few ladies walking beside the road by themselves...
